Watch: Twiggy Recreate an Iconic Vogue Photograph from 1967

She’s a model who defined an era, and 56 years later, we’re able to bare witness to Twiggy recreating one of her most iconic of photographs from 1967 – all thanks to Vogue. In collaboration with eBay, using pieces available via the online auction site’s Decades of Authenticity offering, which is a carefully curated selection of luxury accessories seen throughout the decades – with 100% authenticity guaranteed.

The original photograph of Twiggy wearing a wool chenille jumpsuit by Pattie Tuttman for Silverworm, a dazzling chunky gold Oster for Paraphernalia chain bracelet looped around a Vacheron Constantin watch and throwing a Louis Vuitton Papillion handbag over her shoulder was captured by legendary photographer Bert Stern. The classic image was part of a fashion story entitled ‘What Makes Fashion Tick: Accessories to Watch‘, which featured inside Vogue‘s issue dated November 15, 1967.

For the 2023 recreation, the modeling icon, now 74-years-old, was photographed by Campbell Addy who manages to recreate the timeless photograph perfectly.
