Starting today, shoppers at those same brick-and-mortar Nordstroms can enter Tilbury’s perfumed, celestial world and dance alongside Kate Moss and her campaign co-star Nathan Mitchell with the help of Samsung Gear’s Oculus headsets.

The full virtual reality experience will also hit New York City’s Bloomingdale’s flagship on September 19. That same day, shoppers at Tilbury-toting Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s locations nationwide will be able to view (a slightly less engrossing version of) the film via YouTube whilst wearing Google Cardboard devices.

“Not only is it a journey through space…but it also physically [and] visually evokes the ‘time-traveling’ sensation and haunting effect that perfume can have on others,” Tilbury told WWD.

For those who are dizzy just reading about this otherworldly experience, you can view the 2D version of the Baillie Walsh-lensed film above. Project it against a wall at your next fête to really set the vibe.

Kylie Jenner has some serious competition in the lipstick department, and we’re not just talking about Caitlyn Jenner’s new MAC collab. Her half-sister Kim Kardashian now has her very own lipstick.

The reality TV star inspired a new Charlotte Tilbury shade called “Kim K.W.” Kim’s lippie is a part of Tilbury’s new “Hot Lips” collection which includes 12 shades inspired by celebrities like Miranda Kerr, Kate Bosworth and of course, Kim Kardashian. The line launches on June 27 and will raise funds for charity Women For Women with a donation of £1 per lipstick. 

Tilbury told Cosmo UK that Kim’s lipstick shade will have a plumping effect, much like her younger sister’s. “Kim is the queen of the nude lip, and this vintage inspired pale pink nude makes lips look instantly fuller, and irresistible,” Tilbury said. 

She also went so far as to describe Kim as “a modern day icon,” likening her to “1960s startlets like Raquel Welch and Sophie Loren” when she wears the nude color. We guess.

It was only a matter of time before Charlotte Tilbury dove into the beauty collaboration game with her namesake line — and she’s doing so in a very unique way. Rather than release new products or have someone be the face of her brand, Tilbury is paying homage to Norman Parkinson by featuring his work on her products. The makeup master teamed up with Parkinson’s family for a collection that will honor the photographer’s famous work, including the iconic Jerry Hall portraits he took for the cover of Vogue‘s May 1975 issue that’s a favorite of Tilbury’s.

“I have always been fascinated and inspired by the incredible work of Norman Parkinson. He is a legendary photographer that, in the fashion world, we turn to again and again as a reference and an inspiration — his work is on every moodboard,” says Tilbury of her admiration for the legend. “His grandson Jake is a close friend of mine and approached me with the opportunity to visit the Parkinson archive. After visiting the gallery of 750,000 negatives and 3,000 original prints, we came up with the idea of creating a limited-edition line in homage to his grandfather’s incredible body of work. I’m so proud of how each piece looks — like covetable vintage compacts that you can be proud to use in public,” she explains.

The iconic Jerry Hall cover served as the inspiration for the makeup bag and a new version of the Filmstar Bronze & Glow Palette (a cream formula) that will feature images of the model shot by Parkinson. “Parkinson’s ability to capture light hugely influences how I think about make-up — that whole soft-focus look. As an artist, a lot of my tricks start with a play on light and dark to enhance and re-shape the facial framework. This new cream texture contouring palette is inspired by the natural fall of sun light and shade on one’s face,” says the makeup pro.
