There was the usual mix of models, actors, singers, designers and social media influencers at this year’s The Fashion Awards aka the British Fashion Awards. While we were treated to pops of color courtesy of Rihanna, Emilia Clarke and newly minted Model of the Year Adut Akech, the majority of the red carpet looks were pretty black and white. But sequins, ethereal layers and cut-outs kept things interesting. The real scene-stealers were the puffer gown and puffer skirt worn by Shailene Woodley and Liya Kebede, respectively.

While most of the suits were pretty streamlined, some of the gowns were pretty OTT boasting everything from feathers to big back bows. And the naked dress is alive and well over in London with Kendall Jenner wearing one of the most risqué looks of the night.

Kaia Gerber picked up her Model of the Year award in style, decked out in a glitzy Alexander McQueen dress-over-pants combo. And Meghan Markle looked supremely elegant in a black Givenchy gown fittingly as she presented the fashion house’s current artistic director, Clare Waight Keller, with the British Designer of the Year Womenswear honor.

“Oh my goodness I actually smiled when I saw that Kylie cover! It’s everything I need for spring. I like the mood. I love the carefree feel to it. I love how it feels so natural. Her best cover to date. I might actually buy this. She’s a beautiful woman. Gugu’s cover is also beautiful. Love the attitude,” raved MON the moment the covers dropped.

“Yeah, Kylie’s cover is soo good! I like it,” chimed in fluxxx.

Sharing the exact same sentiments was kokobombon, echoing, “I think that Kylie’s cover is the best! I prefer her styling and pose/expression over the rest.”

Narcyza couldn’t believe it either: “I’m surprised but Kylie looks quite fresh and young here!”

Yet not everyone was so forthcoming toward Marie Claire‘s new offering. “Honestly f**k them for featuring an incredibly talented and elegant girl like Gugu on the cover with girls like Kylie Jenner and that obnoxious pouty Baldwin girl. But at least she looks the best and slays them all. F**k them too for that hair and light skin on Zendaya,” pointed out a frustrated Wolkfolk.
