Way More Misses Than Hits at London Fashion Week Spring 2021

As quickly as we crossed the pond (from the comfort of our own homes), the London Fashion Week Spring 2021 fashion festivities have come to a close. Now it’s time to take a look back at all the highs and lows. Frankly, there were mostly lows. Well, at least according to our opinionated forum members.

Burberry’s Riccardo Tisci kicked things off by transporting us to a forest outside the city to unveil a collection that fuses nature and technology. Victoria Beckham had to switch gears by opting for a more intimate showcase. Erdem Moralioglu paid homage to Susan Sontag‘s book The Volcano Lover by mixing both masculine and feminine elements. Molly Goddard showed absolutely zero signs of stripping back presenting yet another colorful and extravagant collection. On the other hand, Margaret Howell proved minimalism is always a good idea. All in all, the lookbooks received more praise than the actual runway shows.
