It’s that time of year again when we take stock of the models who hit the runways at New York Fashion Week to see who stands head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to show tallies. While we’re still hard at work compiling our much-anticipated diversity report for the Big Apple presentations, it is worthwhile to note that out of the top 10 catwalkers this season, four models were women of color. Perfectly portraying Heidi Klum’s now infamous Project Runway saying, “One day you’re in. The next day you’re out,” only three models made a return trip to our coveted list from Fall 2016.
