Over recent seasons, Nicolas Ghesquière has had a select few on speed dial to lens his various different advertising campaigns for Louis Vuitton. As a result, the storied French fashion house’s most recent campaign imagery has been lensed by Ethan James Green, Glen Luchford and David Sims. Ghesquière calls upon Sims once again with the unveiling of the Spring 2024 campaign. Models Loli Bahia, Ida Heiner, Hejia Li and actress Cynthia Erivo assemble before the British photographer’s lens and pose high a top a glass-fronted building on location in Milan. The clear blue skies and Milanese backdrop make for an arresting backdrop against Ghesquière’s Parisian-inspired collection.

The powerhouse American designer drops Anok Yai this season, opting to cast Vittoria Ceretti solo. Remaining on the books also is photographic duo Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. Throughout the sun-drenched campaign imagery, the Italian beauty (and firm forum favorite) is styled by Emmanuelle Alt and captured by the Dutch creative twosome around various different picturesque and dreamy locations throughout the retro-inspired campaign imagery.

Ian Griffiths had enlisted Steven Meisel for what felt like forever as Max Mara’s campaign photographer, until tasking Ethan James Green with the job for the Fall 2022 season. As a result, the young American photographer has since captured the Italian fashion brand’s Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 campaign imagery too. Once again, Griffiths, Max Mara’s long-serving creative director find himself in the mood for change and enlists Craig McDean as campaign photographer for Spring 2024. Griffiths opted to keep model Karolina Spakowski for another season, who is joined by He Cong and Felice Nova Noordhoff. Styled by Tonne Goodman, the girls roam the interiors of the brutalist Breuer Building in New York City throughout the series of campaign images.

Campaigns since his debut Spring 2023 collection have been lensed by Jackie Nickerson, Rafael Pavarotti, Tyler Mitchell and Davis reverted back to Pavarotti for Holiday 2023. Vanina Sorrenti is commissioned for the Spring 2024 season and gone is the multi-girl casting in favor of a solo Natalia Vodianova. Captured around interiors adorned with mid-century furniture, parquet flooring and plush carpet, Natalia (who is already the face of Ermanno Scervino) is styled by Carlos Nazario throughout the artistic and stylized campaign.

Loli Bahia is a no-show this season, in favor of newly-appointed brand ambassador Riley Keough and Viard favorite Rianne van Rompaey. The stars of the campaign roam the grounds and interiors of the modernist mansion, captured by I&V in both color and black and white. The finished result evokes the mood and eclectic spirit of the 70s perfectly.

Africa Garcia, Caren Jepkemei and Rolf Schrader were cast for Fall 2022, Jeanne Cadieu and Julia Nobis joined forces for Spring 2023 while Vivienne Rohner was shot in crisp black and white for Toteme’s jewelry campaign back in late 2023. The Stockholm-based fashion label’s Spring 2024 campaign sees Ida Heiner cast as the face and embodiment of Kling’s latest collection, with the Danish model posing against a sleek grey studio backdrop and doing little much else to deliver a series of minimalist, chic and polished campaign imagery.
